People on the net are searching for Chris Hansen, everyone knows him as the dude for his work on Dateline: To Catch A Predator….. because there is a rumor going around that he was arrested for..
Child Molestation.
The problem with this rumor is that it is false because it wasn’t Chris who was arrested, but some dude named James William Hansen, 28, (same surname but not related) who was recently arrested for having inappropriate sexual contact with underage males at a park in Ceader Rapids.
According to Sheriff Randall L. Forsyth, who told local news, James William Hansen had Faced two counts of sexual abuse in the second-degree, one count of assault with intent commit sexual abuse Thurs and two counts of lascivious Acts with a child.
On Friday, James William Hansen was in Benton County Jail & His bail was set at $ 25,000.. oh and this dude was arrested last month— August 6th, 2010.
as for Chris Hansen, he has not been arrested for anything at this time.

Chris Hansen, the host of To Catch a Predator is reported to have been arrested for child molestation, but it’s totally false. The man involved in the child molestation case is James William Hansen who is being arrested for having inappropriate sexual contact with underage males at a park in Blairstown.
Police has already arrested the 28-year-old man from the office of the Benton County Sheriff on Wednesday.
James William Hansen had faced two counts of sexual abuse in the second-degree, one with intent to commit sexual abuse and two of lascivious acts with a child, says Sheriff Randall L. Forsyth.
On Friday, James William Hansen got out of Benton County Jail on a bail of $25,000.

Chris Hansen, Best Known For His Work on Dateline and As the Host of To Catch a Predator Has Not Been Arrested For Child Molestation
In what appears to be a Google bomb, Chris Hansen, who is known for his work on shows about catching child molesters and sexual predators, is rumored to have been arrested for child molestation, but those reports are false.
There is a story about James William Hansen being arrested for having inappropriate sexual contact with underage males at a park in Blairstown, but there is no connection with the two stories.
Chris Hansen has not been arrested for anything at this time.
